So, as many of you know. Erin and I were parents to a ‘special needs’ kitty for 8 years. Good ol’ Siler, who was deaf. Sadly he passed away this past May and we both (well…mostly me) really wanted a new cat because we like having both a dog and a cat. So, this past Saturday a beautiful Russian Blue kitten caught our eyes, and we adopted him today! He’s a gorgeous kitten, about 12 weeks old, and most importantly Arden LOVES him! She has been a licking the poor thing furiously since the kitty has been here. The kitty has also been rubbing up on Arden and has claimed the big 'doggie’ bed as his own.
At the moment, we don’t have a name for him (his name is ‘technically’ Olive, but we are changing it). We want to same him something religious in Greek or Hebrew…or name him after a Texas Ranger (or just Ranger….hmmm…).

Claire's vote was for Edwin (think Olivia books), but then that morphed into Edmund. Lila, however, thinks Poster is the way to go. We're looking forward to hearing the results! :)
