In October, Miriam turned 17 months old.
She likes to do things on her own...
but she is happiest when she is right beside her big sis.
This child loves to dance! Her arms start flailing about and she turns around in circles!
She loves to say, "Hey Daddy!"
She tries repeating words that we are saying. It used to be just gibberish, but now she at least gets close with her sounds and number of syllables!
Her new favorite sign is "all done."
She LOVES playing with small toys/figurines (most of which belong to Ashleigh). She usually has two dolls "talking" to each other.
This girl is obsessed with rolling balls. She can spot a ball a mile away, and she will yell BALL!
She is sleeping in a "big girl bed." We have always had such issues with her sleeping, so we were willing to try anything! So, we first tried putting her crib in Ashleigh's room... that did not work! So we moved her crib back into her own room and took off the side to convert it to a toddler bed. She hopped right in and was quite excited about it. With the crib, she was refusing to even get near it, much less sleep in it, so we were thankful that she was willing to sleep in the "toddler bed." She still gets up about 2 times a night, but at least she will settle right down when she is going to sleep.
However, she has no problem sleeping like THIS when Mommy is around...
Happy 17 months, M. We love you! We can't believe you're almost 1.5 years old!!!

Thanks for all the super updates. 11 Jan cannot get here fast enough!!
