Grandma Sue and Grandpa Bill Came to Visit!

Right before Easter, Grandma Sue and Grandpa Bill came to see us in sunny (but cool) Michigan! They arrived on the Wednesday before Easter (which was perfect timing because it actually snowed the previous day…fortunately most had melted before their airplane even touched down!)

First came hugs and kisses…and presents!

Miriam is happily “munching” on a wooden puzzle piece and Ashleigh is excitedly “reading” her new Frozen story book! Grandma went crazy (in a good way) with all the new toys and books! Ashleigh was most excited about her Anna dress (from Frozen) and her Elsa doll!!

We took them up to MSU and went to visit the Children’s Garden and Butterfly House.

And we had to stop for ice cream at the MSU Dairy Store! Miriam passed out before we even got inside.

We toured the Michigan State House in Lansing. Ashleigh was convinced this was where the “king and queen lived.”

Ashleigh loved helping Grandma and Grandpa plant some beautiful tulips by our front steps!
