Mighty Marvelous Miriam is 4 months old!
Oh, that big smile just makes me melt!
(Here is a side-by-side comparison of Ashleigh and Miriam at 4 months old. I *think* they might be sisters!) Miriam’s looks have really started to change, so she doesn’t look as much like Ashleigh as she did in the beginning.
At 4 months, Miriam…
-weighs 14 pounds 5 oz, and is 26 inches long. So big! She just keeps growing and growing!
-is still wearing mostly size 3 month clothing but has started to wear some 6 month pajamas.
- started sleeping in her crib! She did pretty well with the transition, although she did start waking up more often during the night.
-smiles and laughs at everything! She is very entertained by anything going on around her. She also giggles when you tickle her!
-has eyes only for her sister. It is amazing how much she loves watching what Ashleigh is doing!
-LOVES tummy time. She could spend all day on her belly.
-has rolled over (tummy to back) just a couple of times but she loves spending time on her tummy, so she feels like there is no need to roll over!
-is holding her head up much straighter thanks to some exercises and stretches we have been doing at home.
-does not like sitting in her Bumbo chair, but she does tolerate being in the swing for a little while.
-reaches for objects in front of her. She loves trying to grab anything near her!
-gives you “hugs” when you pick her up. Her arms just automatically wrap around your neck. Oh, love!
-sleeps on her back but tips her head way back and off to the side, and then puts her hands up beside her head. So cute!
We just love this precious girl! Happy 4 months!
