Ashleigh took her first trip to Erin’s alma mater (Winthrop University) last Saturday, May 7, to attend Brian’s college graduation ceremony.
Ashleigh did really well during the ceremony. She was quite entertained by trying to “climb” up Matt’s body and playing with her stuffed animals. One of Brian’s oldest friends, John David, was given the honor of singing the National Anthem at the beginning of the graduation.
There was no speaker at the ceremony, which made it go by a bit quicker! Winthrop allows people to cheer for their graduate (none of that “wait until all names have been called” thing), so we clapped and cheered as Brian walked across the stage and accepted his college diploma!
We’re so proud of “Uncle B”!!
