My first Mother’s Day

Ashleigh decided she was so excited about my first Mother’s Day that she decided to wake up super early just so she could spend more time with me. Isn’t. that. sweet. Matt brought our little girl into bed with us around 6am because she was wide awake and making all kinds of crazy sounds in her crib, and they went ahead and gave me my Mother’s Day cards and gift (earrings!!). As we laid in bed, I joked that the best gift Ashleigh could give me would be another hour of sleep! Well, lo and behold, about 10  minutes later, she fell asleep leaning against Matt. An hour and a half later, the three of us woke up much happier and much more refreshed!! Thanks for the best gift, Ashleigh!
