The fair was in town just down the street from our house, so of course we had to go! However, the weather was really "iffy" all week. We decided to take a chance and go on Kids Day, even though there was a chance of rain all day. We met Frankie and Tyler and their mommy at the fair that morning, and Frankie and Ashleigh had a blast riding the rides.
We were all wearing jackets when we first got there (it was in the lower 60s!) but fortunately it warmed up fairly quickly.
We all went back home for lunch and naps and we headed back to the fair around 4:00 with Matt because we wanted to see Katie and Libby from our congregation in the sheep showing competition.
Miriam and Tyler were mostly content to just hang out and watch the action.
We stayed at the fair until around 9:00! This picture sums up our day perfectly. Ashleigh was exhausted and Miriam was hungry! (That was MY delicious elephant ear!)
