7 months old

Every month on the 18th, we celebrate Ashleigh's new month of life. For the first 6 months, I was okay with her new monthly age....until now. How in the world is she already 7 months old?!? I cried on April 17th, I cried on April 18th, and I even teared up on the 19th. I just can't believe how fast she is growing up!

Look how big I am! I don't need to be propped up against the chair anymore!

At 7 months, Ashleigh....

-is sitting up all by herself, and she's pretty steady!

-still loves to stand up

-is rolling all over the floor and is even starting the "army crawl"

-is eating solid (pureed) foods twice a day (so far she has eaten bananas, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, squash, and avocado- and she has liked them all except apples)

-is smiling and laughing so much

-is using her hands a lot- waving them around and holding them up in the air

-loves her stuffed animals, although ladybug is still the clear favorite

-is wearing size 2 diapers

-is wearing 3-6 month and 6 month clothing

-is taking 2-3 naps a day

-is sleeping about 11 hours at night

-is getting really good at grabbing and holding on to objects (including daddy's meatball sub!)

-babbles a lot (mostly lalala, bababa, dadada, mamama)

-loves kicking and splashing in the bathtub

-loves going on our daily walks

Oh Ashleigh, you are just too much!
