Seriously, 6 months old? Good grief- where has the time gone? I miss the newborn days because she was so little and new, but I absolutely love watching her learn and experience new things now that she’s older!
Ashleigh went to the doctor for her 6 month check up on St. Patrick’s Day. Even though she wore green, she still got “pinched”- she got 2 shots, but she handled them like a pro… just a couple of tears! She weighs 13lbs, 8oz and she is 25 inches long. She’s a growing girl!
At 6 months, Ashleigh….
-is rolling all over the place!
-has a favorite toy- her ladybug!
-is trying to figure out how to sit up.
-loves to stand up (with help, of course!)
-laughs and giggles at funny things.
-is sleeping 9-10 hours straight at night. (YAY!!)
-LOVES Hobbes our cat. She likes Arden too, but she is very interested in the cat!
-is wearing size 1-2 diapers.
-loves being outside.
-is still mostly wearing 3 month clothing, but she is starting to fit into some of her 6 month outfits.
-loves when we wiggle our fingers against her lips when she’s “talking” (funny video coming soon!)
-loves going on walks in the stroller.
-likes to “read” books.
-still loves to put everything in her mouth.
-is showing interest in our food (she’ll be starting solid foods as soon as I make some for her!)
-is ALWAYS smiling! She’s such a happy girl! :)
-is sleeping without being swaddled! And, it wasn’t too hard of a transition, thank goodness!
