Go Gamecocks!!

Thank goodness for ESPN. We were able to watch the Battle of the Palmetto State, and it was much more enjoyable this year since Carolina played so well!

We cheered for the gamecocks all the way from Michigan, and what a game! We are so proud of our gamecocks!!!

Ashleigh had some words of advice for the players before the game…

1. Drink your milk. It makes your bones strong!

2. Eat your Wheaties (or in her case, your Ritz crackers)

3. Put your game face on!

4. Break your shoes in so you don’t get blisters. (You don’t have to use Ashleigh’s method!)

5. Don’t be afraid to fall down.

GO GAMECOCKS!!

First Thanksgiving in the north

We celebrated Thanksgiving at our house for the very first time. And, my mom, dad, and brother made the trip up here to visit and spend Thanksgiving with us! We have a wonderful time hanging out and showing them around the Mason/Lansing area. And Ashleigh didn’t mind the extra attention she was receiving one bit! We were sad to see them go home, but we are already looking forward to their next visit, whenever that might be!

We celebrated Christmas while they were in town. They got Matt a portable disc golf basket, so that served as our christmas tree!
